Registration will be July 27- August 3 from 8:30am-1:30pm. Registration will end on Thursday, August 3rd to prepare for the opening of school. Registration will resume on Thursday, August 10th at 9:00am. Any questions regarding this please contact the school at 595-6435.

Attention Class of 2017:

We will not announce anticipated recipients of TOPS Awards at graduation this year. Please read the TOPS funding updates for the 2017-2018 academic year. Please continue to watch the news for further updates regarding TOPS.

Beginning May 30, 2017, SPHS will be offering a free Math enrichment program to our 7th grade students to help build the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in the 8th grade

We will not have an early dismissal this Wednesday, May 10th due to state testing. Students will remain on campus until 2:35pm. Please make arrangements for younger children as the two elementary schools may still be dismissing early.

Registration for the 2017-18 school year at South Plaquemines High School will be Thursday, July 27 from 8:30 - 1:30. For more information or questions, please contact the school at 595-6435.

Due to the weather, SPHS's Suicide Presentation has been postponed. The rescheduled date/time will be shared as soon as possible.

There will be a mandatory meeting held on May 1, 2017 at 6:00pm in the auditorium. All eighth graders and a parent/guardian must attend the meeting. Students will not be allowed to schedule for next year's classes unless they attend the meeting. Please contact Mrs.Slavich if you have any questions or concerns at 595-6425.

45 Minutes = Infinite Possibilities will run through May 12 to provide parents and students with helpful tools and resources to guide them through the completion of the FAFSA form. This is a social media campaign through the Louisiana Department of Education on facebook and twitter. Check them out.
