May 7, 2019 SPHS will have a Family Engagement Policy and Title 1 program meeting at 5 pm right before Athletic Awards night.

US and World News recently release rankings of schools in the nation. SPHS is ranked 12th in the state and 1st in the Parish!

The students have worked hard to make gains in every area at SPHS.
We are ranked 1st in Math and Reading Performance Rank based on diversity!
We are the 1st open enrollment school on the list for the state! Schools ranked 1-11 are all magnet schools!

We will be having meeting about our upcoming trip to Washington D.C!  If there are any parents that you know who might be interested in attending our meeting, please forward information to them.  


The meeting will be Wednesday, May 1st @ 6pm in Room 133.

Arts Fest will take place tomorrow due to the inclement weather.

Who- ALL 8th graders and a parent or guardian must attend the meeting
When- Monday, March 25, 2019
Time- 5:30pm-6:30pm
Where- Classroom 133
Topics- graduation requirements, diploma tracks, pathways, LEAP 2025, TOPS/TOP TECH and college credit

Kaley Dang has been named SPHS's 12th Student of the Year. Mallie Creppel has been named SPHS's 8th Grade Student of the Year.
