Mission & Philosophy

The mission of SPHS’s Storm Chasers, peer mediation program, is to teach students how to talk out issues and resolve conflicts between themselves before disciplinary action is necessary.

Our philosophy behind peer mediation is that students will learn how to make better social and behavioral choices as peer leaders walk them through the process of effectively ending a dispute.
