South Plaquemines High School Senior Ai Nhi Nguyen has been selected from a statewide pool of applicants to attend National Youth Science Camp. This camp is a month-long residential science education program for young scientists to attend after they graduate from high school.Campers participate in hands-on science studies, attend challenging lectures and have the opportunity to participate in an outdoor adventure program. This camp is funded by the National Youth Science Foundation, which covers all of the camp costs, including travel. Consequently, only two students from each state are chosen to participate each year. SPHS is very proud of Ai Nhi for being selected as one of Louisiana’s representatives in this prestigious program.
